
IPL Auction – Day 1, has been held on 24th December for the 2023 Season. In this auction, all IPL teams – Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, Gujarat Titans, Sunrisers Hyderabad, Punjab Kings, Lucknow Super Giants, Delhi Capitals, Rajasthan Royals, Kolkata Knight Riders, Mumbai Indians took part with the purse remaining, after announcing their retentions. Sam Curran created huge record with Rs.18.5 crores price and he is bought by Punjab Kings.
Cameron Green has been bought by Mumbai Indians for Rs.17.5 crores, Chennai Super Kings bought Ben Stokes for Rs.16.25 crores and Nicholas Pooran has been bought by Lucknow Super Giants for Rs.16 crores. Harry Brook went for Rs.13.25 crores to Sunrisers Hyderabad and Mayank Agarwal made Rs.8.25 crores from the same team. They made headlines for this IPL Auction.
