Stock Markets Update: More than Rs.5 lakh crores in one session

Stock Markets continued to crash on Monday as well like Friday

Stock Markets have crashed once again on 15th April, 2024. The news about probable war in Gulf and fears of retaliation by Israel after Iran attacks has made investors sell off their holds. As a result, the crash continued and markets lost Rs.5 Lakh crores of equity valuation in one session. On the whole, BSE lost 845.12 points to close at 73,399.78 and Nifty lost 246.90 points to close at 22,272.50 mark.

BSE Sensex started trading at 73,315.16 and then continued to trade between 73,905.80 – 73,315.16. Index started off with a huge 900 points loss in the morning and traded at the same level without any hope for recovery. Without any recovery in sight, BSE ended the trading session at 73,399.78 by losing 845.12 points.

Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,339.05 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,427.45. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,259.55. Investors sold off their holds in big stocks and it resulted in even bigger crash than on Friday. With huge losses in major number of stocks, Nifty50 ended by losing 246.90 points on 22,272.50.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.44 against US Dollar on 15th April 2024. Except for Maruthi Suzuki, Nestle India, Bharti Airtel all shares have ended up losing in this session. Wipro, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finserv, L & T, Bajaj Finance shares are the Top Losers. Stock Markets are completely struck by third world war or War in Arab countries and this turmoil could continue until situation stabilizes.
