Thalapathy Vijay has made it a tradition these days to release first single from his upcoming movie 5-6 months before release. Adding to the tradition, he also been singing those first singles. Now, from his upcoming film, The Greatest of All Time, first single has been released on 14th April for the auspicious occasion of Tamil Puthandu, New Year.
The song featured Thalapathy Vijay, Prasanth, Prabhu Deva and Ajmal. It has been years since Prabhu Deva and Vijay have shared screen space, that too, dancing. The makers of The Greatest of All Time wanted to create a special moment with all of them dancing like in Leo. The song has gone viral upon release and crossed 20 Million views.
Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for the film and Venkat Prabhu is directing it. The setting looked similar to Leo but the makers have stated that the movie will be unique and give a memorable theatrical experience to fans. After Mankatha, Venkat Prabhu is handling a hero on similar magnitude, Thalapathy Vijay, in this film.
The expectations from the combination are huge and this song is known as party anthem. Even though this song might not have been able to match the enthusiasm and energy of Anirudh Ravichander songs for Beast and Leo, fans want other songs from the album to be chartbusters. Still, this song is going to popular among fans till release of the film on 5th September.
