Stock Markets maintained their gains on 22nd April, 2024. After putting an end to consecutive losses on 19th April, Stock Markets have maintained gains, in fact, managed to recover better on Monday. Investors have felt assured with Iran not looking to extend war situation and hence, major International Stock Markets have also gained heavily.
Big stocks have also attracted investments. Private Banks, Infrastructure company stocks have attracted huge investments, too. On the whole, BSE gained 560.29 points to close at 73,648.62 and Nifty gained 189.40 points to close at 22,336.40 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading at 73,666.51 and then continued to trade between 73,767.80 – 73,227.32. Index started above previous closing and continued to perform better. With such a positive investment turnout, BSE ended the trading session at 73,648.62 by gaining 560.29 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,336.90 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,375.65. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,198.15. Index started above the previous closing and the big stocks have kept attracting big investments. This helped, Nifty50 to end the session by gaining 189.40 points on 22,336.40.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.35 against US Dollar on 22nd April 2024. L&T, Axis Bank, Bajaj Finance, UltraTech Cement, Wipro shares have ended up as Top Gainers. NTPC, HDFC Bank, JSW Steel, IndusInd Bank, Tata Steel shares have ended up as Top Losers. With two back to back positive sessions, investors would be hoping for this trend this continue till end of April, at least.
