Amitabh Bachchan is one of the biggest acting legends of Indian Cinema and he is playing important supporting roles in big films, these days. He has decided to play an important supporting role in Prabhas, Kamal Haasan, Deepika Padukone starrer Kalki 2898 AD. Nag Ashwin is directing this futuristic science fiction film in Vyjayanthi Films production.
The makers have revealed the first look of Amitabh Bachchan’s character, Ashwatthama, from the film. They released a character reveal teaser and introduced the character with a young boy asking him questions. Ashwatthama doesn’t completely reveal his identity until he identifies the situation has come for Kalki – Vishnu’s 10th avatar, arrival.
In the teaser, the makers have revealed the de-aged look of Amitabh Bachchan as well. This look as rocked the internet as many could not believe that the makers would go for such a look as the movie has been announced. So, the photo is being shared around. While some are liking it, some are stating that it could have been even better.
Well, the makers still did not announce the new release date from the previously locked 9th May. As the movie is scheduled to release only after elections, we have to wait until they confirm the date. Until then, we can only speculate about Ashwatthama’s involvement in Kalki’s war against a power that forces world into a dystopian society.
