At Ahmedabad Narendra Modi Stadium, rain kept pouring down all night. As the empires waited till last call-off time, they have decided to postpone match to reserve day. IPL 2023 final will be held on 29th May, 2023.

IPL 2023 Final has been called off on 28th May, 2023. The organisers decided to give the Mega Tournament huge Sunday entertainer in its 16th season. But rain has played a spoilsport for IPL organisers. At Ahmedabad Narendra Modi Stadium, rain kept pouring down all night. As the empires waited till last call-off time, they have decided to postpone match to reserve day. IPL 2023 final will be held on 29th May, 2023.

CSK and GT have come to the final and they will play on 29th May. MS Dhoni did not announce his retirement plans or retirement from the IPL Cricket. But fans have decided to enjoy his last phase of the career. They want him to lift another IPL Cup and then retire. GT wants to be the third team to win back-to-back IPL trophies.

But all these aspirations have been spoilt by rain. Spectators waited till the last moment to see if match starts. CSK has won against GT in Qualifier 1 at Chennai, in IPL before. But they lost to GT at same stadium in IPL 2023 inauguration match. CSK and GT played first match at the stadium and they will play last match too.

GT won against MI in Qualifier 2 and fans are waiting for this match to happen. As per weather reports, 29th May has less chances of rain but we can never trust the weather. IPL organisers and fans want MS Dhoni to play his possible last match and go on a high. Interestingly, MS Dhoni last International Match, 2019 CWC Semi-final, has also been postponed to reserve day due to rain. Not confirming this is his last IPL but chances are more.
