Tomorrow they could become as bigger stars as MS Dhoni, Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma and for that they need keep up this consistency. GT played with Pink Jerseys and we can say that it suited them well. They wore Pink Jerseys to spread awareness against Cancer. Shubman Gill has scored his maiden IPL Century at Ahmedabad against SRH. He missed his century against LSG on the same ground. He has been consistent for GT, this season.

SRH won the toss and elected to field first. Strangely, they have decided to drop Glenn Phillips in a must win match. GT batter Wriddhiman Saha fell for a duck to Bhuvneshwar Kumar. Sai Sudharsan(47) and Shubman Gill have together stitched a partnership of 147 runs in 14 overs. GT looked set to cross 220 or go even big. But death overs bowling of SRH has come good. Shubman Gill scored 101 runs off 58 balls to help his team. In the last over, Bhuvneshwar Kumar took 3 wickets for just 2 runs and he ended with 5/30 figures.

SRH in their chase lost 7 wickets for just 59 runs on board. Mohit Sharma(4/28) and Mohammed Shami(4/21) dictated SRH collapse in powerplay and later stages in first 10 overs for GT. Heinrich Klaasen scored 64 off 44 balls to give SRH a decent score and Bhuvneshwar Kumar(27) helped him. Mayank Markande(18) pushed score to 154/9 in 20 overs. GT scored 188/9 and SRH controlled them very well. But still GT won by 34 runs and confirmed their place for Qualifiers as No.1 team. MI is the only other team who have probability to reach 18 points but they don’t have as high NRR as GT.
