Tom Latham and Devon Conway opened for New Zealand and Pakistan bowlers failed to take a wicket. Both the Openers stayed at the crease undefeated for the entire Day 2 and they will start Day 3. New Zealand are on 165/0 and Tom Latham is on 78(126), Devon Conway is on 82(156). Pakistan had to bring on Babar Azam in the 47 overs they have bowled. If New Zealand continue to pile on with Kane Williamson, Henry Nicholls, Daryl Mitchell, Tom Blundell to bat still on Day 3 pitch, Pakistan will have to suffer hard to even force for a draw.
