Siddaramaiah has been Congress high command’s popular choices. DK Shivakumar has had a huge chance for Karnataka CM as well. He asked high command to consider his rise in popularity from 2019 and his ground-breaking work. But now, sources state that Siddaramaiah is going to Karnataka CM.
Congress high command have discussed with Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi. After Siddaramaiah and DK Shivakumar meetings with Mallikarjuna Kharge, main leaders discussed with Gandhis’. They have all decided to give Siddaramaiah Karnataka CM post and DK Shivakumar Deputy Karnataka CM post. DK Shivakumar has asked Karnataka CM post for 3 years and give the next two years to Siddaramaiah.
But then Rahul Gandhi has stated to Mallikarjuna Kharge that Siddaramaiah is popular among masses. So, they have given Karnataka CM post to senior leader. In next elections, if Congress wins then DK Shivakumar could be the first choice. Siddaramaiah will take oath as next Karnataka CM on 18th May at 3:30PM in Kanteerava Stadium. DK Shivakumar is currently talking with Rahul Gandhi at his residence. The official announcement about Karnataka CM is expected to come out by 17th May evening or night.
