CBI has started investigation in ex-MP YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. They have added MP Avinash Reddy, as one of primary suspects. On 24th February, CBI has summoned MP Avinash Reddy to appear in front of them. He attended the interrogation with his lawyers and he has been questioned for 4:30 hours. But CBI did not allow Lawyers to come into the interrogation room with Avinash Reddy.
Avinash Reddy talked to media after the interrogation. He said, “I told to CBI officers same thing I have to press on the day of the murder. They have asked me to appear in front of them again after 28th January, enquiry. They did not ask to me appear again. But CBI seems to be targeting me in this case and trying to find something against me. They should rather mobilize their skills to find the real culprit.”
Nara Chandra Babu Naidu after this enquiry session, stated that CM Jagan is trying to hide facts. He alleged that due to the problems within the family, CM Jagan and Avinash Reddy, conspired to kill MP Vivekanand Reddy. CBI did not release their suspect list or submit their chargesheet yet. But they have told to Court that they suspect Avinash Reddy, as one of prime suspects. CBI has been asked to fast track the investigation by Union Government.
