Akhilesh Yadav, SP leader, stated that India needs alternative for BJP and Congress. He said that Congress has been rejected by Indian voters. In future, Akhilesh Yadav predicted that BJP will also go in the same direction. He said that Opposition will be united and go against BJP. Akhilesh Yadav met Mamata Banerjee and did not talk about their meeting. But he confirmed that SP will be distant to BJP and Congress.
He has been seen actively participating in BRS meetings. Akhilesh Yadav stated that united front from Opposition will bring an end to BJP divisional rule. He equated BJP with Congress. Akhilesh Yadav stated that Congress used National agencies like CBI, ED to harass opposition and BJP is also doing the same. He stated that both the parties have proved that they just want the power and not National welfare.
He further criticized BJP rule and stated that PM Modi has no idea how to run a democracy. Akhilesh Yadav called BJP a party filled with corrupt people and they are ruining India. He stated that SP will go with agenda of Caste Census. He said that Congress in UPA-2 promised but did not go with it. Akhilesh Yadav said that BJP is also not interested in it. So, they will go with it. In 2024, he will go with Opposition leaders with an agenda to defeat BJP.
