SRK aka Shah Rukh Khan has been titled Badshah of Bollywood. His Pathaan has become biggest blockbuster this year. Now, SRK is getting ready to meet audiences with Jawan and Dunki, in September and December, respectively. He has made Don, his own franchise after Farhan Akhtar rebooted it in 2006. SRK fans are expecting him to do Don 3, as announced in Don 2.
The actor and Farhan Akhtar – director-turned-actor, have been discussing ideas from 2012 to make Don 3. SRK did not find any ideas as interesting. Farhan Akhtar also got busy with acting assignments since Rock On. His performances in Zindagi Naa Milegi Dobara, Dil Dhadakne Do won him good reputation among audiences. He won Major Awards for his performances as Milkha Singh in Bhaag Milkha Bhaag. From 2019, SRK and Farhan Akhtar have been serious about making Don 3.
But right now, few news reports are stating that SRK has quit Don 3. It is said that he did not found Don 3 apt for his preferences of doing commercial films. He has stated the same to Farhan Akhtar. As SRK quit the movie, Farhan Akhtar is writing a reboot in 2024. A new age A-1 star will be cast in Don 3. SRK rejected Amitabh Bachchan and another young actor coming as Dons’ in the sequel, it seems. We have to wait for official confirmation about the same.
