Samantha has decided to take on action avatar in her next film, Yashoda. She did not get many opportunities in her career to show off her fighting skills but this one seems to give her career a new dimension after being loved as neighborhood girl, boys crush material, glamour doll, matured mother, humble wife, experimental actor and daringly versatile. Samantha in South has become one of the top actresses over the past decade from 2010-till date and if Yashoda becomes a hit, it will definitely push her into a different league.
Yashoda trailer showcases a fictional company, Eva, where Samantha along with many other young ladies to be precise, surrogates are gathered together. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar is shown as the CEO of the establishment and Unni Mukundan is one of the doctors present there. He is seen to be giving special attention to Samantha character. But all hell breaks when few ladies go missing and Samantha decides to fight back.
Mani Sharma’s background score adds to the sleekness the trailer projects in cuts and stylish photography. Hari and Harish, the young debut directors seem to have taken care about the logic involving a pregnant lady pulling off some difficult stunts, believably.
Samantha as action performer has great ease and she already showed that she can pull such characters in Family Man Season 2, popular web-series, on Amazon Prime. Vijay Deverakonda, Suriya, Dulquer Salmaan, Rakshit Shetty, Varun Dhawan unveiled the trailer in different languages and movie is releasing on 11th November, in Telugu, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi languages across Pan-India markets and worldwide.
