Salman Khan has been doing Telugu and Tamil remakes in Hindi over a period of time. He did Prema as Love in Hindi, way back in 1990’s. Salman Khan did Pokiri as Wanted, Kick as Kick, Ready as Ready, Stalin as Jai Ho. He even did a cameo in Telugu film, Godfather, alongside Megastar Chiranjeevi. Now, Salman Khan has decided to give a tribute to Telugu tradition with Bathukamma song.
Venkatesh, Bhumika Chawla have been cast as a Telugu couple in the film. Pooja Hegde is the sister of Venkatesh in the film and she falls in love with Salman Khan. We saw Punjabi songs, Tamil songs and Marathi songs in Hindi films but this is the first time, a Telugu song and tradition have been represented. Ravi Basrur composed the song. Salman Khan wore Telugu traditional clothes as well, in the song and in the film.
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is going to release in theatres for Eid. Salman Khan films have been hits during Eid time like Bodyguard, Dabbangg, Kick, Sultan, Bhajarangi Bhaijaan. Hope, this film will also follow that trend and become a huge blockbuster. Salman Khan and Hindi films need a blockbuster after Pathaan and hope this film delivers. Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam have been cast in the film directed by Farhad Samji. The movie is a remake of Ajith Kumar’s Veeram.
