RRR movie team has been delighted with the nominations and awards it has been receiving in USA and on International stage. It received nominations for Naatu Naatu, best original song and Best Non-English Feature film in Golden Globes. This raised expectations for RRR to get nonrationed at Academy Awards or Oscars. Now, Academy has announced their shortlists in all categories for 95th Annual Academy Awards and Naatu Naatu got shortlisted, surprisingly Chhello Show also got nominated.

Among the cast and crew of RRR, Ram Charan tweeted,

RRR and Chhello Show or The Last Film Show have fought for Indian board recommendation to International Feature Film category as official submission. Chhello Show has been sent as official submission while RRR team applied independently for the awards.
