Karthi’s Sardar, Sivakarthikeyan’s Prince, Vishwak Sen’s Ori Devuda and Vishnu Manchu’s Ginna released at the box office in Telugu States for Diwali Festival weekend on 21st October. Sardar and Prince had full-blown release in Tamil Nadu and Tamil markets too. Box office collections for all the movies for the past five days in the first week have come out and Sardar has registered highest among all of them, according to reports.

Prince collected Rs.42 crores gross Worldwide and Sardar collected more than Rs.50 crores. Karthi delivered a hit with Viruman and his Ponniyin Selvan 1 also became an ALL-TIME HIGHEST GROSSER in Tamil Cinema with Rs.470 crores gross, according to box office reports. PS1 has become top grosser in Tamil Nadu, USA, Malaysia, Australia, United Kingdom and among top 3 in UAE, Singapore, Kerala, Karnataka, France, New Zealand just behind 2.0, Vikram. North Indian markets and Telugu States did not fare as high as 2.0 for film to become All Time Global Highest Grosser.
Vishwak Sen’s Ori Devuda did not find much traction from audiences after the first day. Looks like original Oh My Kadavule, being an OTT blockbuster affected the remake. Vishnu Manchu’s Ginna collections haven’t been as good as anticipated by the movie team. Sardar can be declared as All India level, Diwali winner as Akshay Kumar’s Ram Setu and Ajay Devgn’s Thank God, cumulatively managed to collected only 24 crores Nett gross collections on opening day and are carrying mixed reports.
