Deepika Padukone is playing in a Telugu film for the first time in her career and she is part of Prabhas film, Project K. Nag Ashwin is directing the film and he wrote the script after Mahanati became a huge blockbuster. Vyjayanthi Movies has entered into their 50th year and as a mark of celebration, senior producer Ashwini Dutt has decided to produce a Pan-World film with Prabhas in lead. Nag Ashwin shared this idea, in accordance to his wishes and Prabhas liked it.
To make the film more special and truly International, Deepika Padukone has been selected to play leading lady role and she started shooting for the film in Hyderabad from last year, precisely October 2022. Prabhas completed his commitment for Adipurush and then joined Project K, Salaar sets. Salaar will be completed on priority this year and Project K could release next year. Deepika Padukone joined Project K after she completed Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan. Prabhas fans are highly excited to watch this film as it is promised to be a new genre film for everyone involved.
Deepika Padukone is celebrating her birthday on 5th January and the team of Project K has decided to release her first look poster. The first look poster presents Deepika Padukone in Hollywood style and her get-up almost resembles Ray from Star Wars and Zendaya from Dune. Team already released making of wheel video and another poster but did not reveal Prabhas look from the film. Amitabh Bachchan is also playing an important role in the film.
