Chinmayi Sripada has grown in Tamil and Telugu as singer. She has become a popular dubbing artiste as well by giving her voice to Samantha. Chinmayi Sripada during Me Too Movement made allegations on senior lyricist and poet, Vairamuthu. Dubbing artistes association and playback singers association has banned her for lifetime. Chinmayi Sripada has been fighting against it from 5 years.
She did not find support from Tamil Cinema, too. Chinmayi Sripada took to Twitter to put her case again in forefront and commented on Kamal Haasan. She called him a politician and doesn’t have trust on such politicians who talks about women’s safety. Chinmayi Sripada on Twitter wrote, “5 years of a singer in Tamilnadu being banned for naming a molester right in front of their eyes and not a pip about it since the poettu has their respect. How does one trust politicians who speak for women’s safety while they ignore harassment right under their noses? Just. Asking. Now while my timeline will blow up with abuse, shouting and yelling imma gonna exit. Buhbye!”

Kamal Haasan took to Twitter on 23rd May and called Indians to support Athelets. He has been against BJP and PM Narendra Modi from long time. He tweeted, “Today marks 1 month of protests by athletes of the wrestling fraternity. Instead of fighting for national glory, we have forced them to fight for personal safety. Fellow Indians ,who deserves our attention, our national sporting icons or a politician with an extensive criminal history?” Chinmayi Sripada pointed that he is silent about Vairamuthu and she cannot believe him talking about women’s safety.
