Ram Charan accepted a film in the direction of senior most and sensational director Shankar. The director faced flop with I and 2.0 became a cost failure due to the budget. He wants to deliver a clean hit and a blockbuster to come out of the unfamiliar results at the box office.
He is the director who created films like Bharateeyudu/Indian, Gentleman, Jeans, Mudhalvan/Oke Okkadu, Boys, Aparichitudu/Anniyan, Shivaji, Enthiran/Robo. 2.0 became a 100 crores grosser in Hindi, a first for him but it costed 400 crores to the production house and only collected 650-700 crores gross worldwide.
He started Indian 2 with Kamal Haasan and due to accident at EVP, Chennai, film shoot got halted after three crew members lost their lives. Now, he could go back to complete Indian 2 after RC15 or SVC50. Dil Raju wanted to produce a film with Shankar on his production house and he got his wish for his 50th film, as a producer.
The film title is being said to be Adhikari. Buzz is that film title and first look will be revealed in a huge event as it will be a Pan-India film too. Kiara Advani is playing lady lead and Suneel, Srikanth, Jayaram are playing supporting roles. Movie is about IAS officers and hence, the title.
