Bellamkonda Srinivas is debuting in Hindi with Chatrapathi remake. Prabhas and SS Rajamouli made the movie in Telugu, way back in 2005. After 18 years, Bellamkonda Srinivas has decided to remake it for Hindi audiences. VV Vinayak directed the movie as he directed actor’s debut movie, Alludu Seenu in Telugu. Bellamkonda Srinivas has worked hard for this film.
Ravi Basrur, KGF Chapter 2 fame, has given background score for the film. Nushrratt Bharuccha has been cast in Shriya Saran role. The major casting coup is that Bhagyashree has been cast in the mother role done by Bhanupriya in the original. Bhagyashree appeared in Prabhas film, Radhe Shyam, recently. Bellamkonda Srinivas in the trailer looks as fit as Prabhas in the original. The actor seems to have worked on his body and also diction to make an impact in Hindi. Bellamkonda Srinivas got the confidence to debut in Hindi as his Jaya Janaki Nayaka Hindi dub Khoonkar has set record with 718 Million views on YouTube.
Trailer refreshes the cult images from Chatrapathi in grand style. VV Vinayak seems to have taken all the care to retain core from the original and change for Hindi audiences.
