Stock Markets Update: Markets trend high and low!

By the end of the trading session, BSE gained 37.08 points to close at 60,978.75 and Nifty lost 0.25 points to close at 18,118.30 mark.

Stock Markets on 24th January found traders going for increasing their profits. Indian Stock Markets started the day on a huge high and traded in huge profits from previous day closing. As the day progressed, traders looked to take profits and the selling pressure as resulted in huge lows. By the end of the trading session, BSE gained 37.08 points to close at 60,978.75 and Nifty lost 0.25 points to close at 18,118.30 mark.

BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 61,122.20 mark and then continued to trade between 60,849.12 to 61,266.06 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 60,978.75 by gaining 37.08 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 18,183.95 mark and it hit highest for the day at 18,162.60. Nifty hit the lowest at 18,063.45. It started off well and traded positive throughout the opening hours but fell down due to traders going to cash in on the profits and it ended at 18,118.30 by losing 0.25 points.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs. 81.64 against US Dollar on Tuesday. Stock Markets have began the Republic Day week with a huge positive but then that very aspect has turned against it on the second day with huge highs and least lows, in one complete session.
