
Stock Markets on 20th February continued to spiral down alike Friday closing. Markets started trading low like on Friday and continued to trade below the expectations in red, throughout. International Stock Markets did not contribute any great deal to the markets. Majorly, all shares except for Automobile and IT shares saw huge selling pressure and contributed to losses. By the end of the trading session of Stock Markets, BSE lost 311.03 points to close at 60,691.54 and Nifty lost 99.60 points to close at 17,844.60 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 61,112.84 mark and then continued to trade between 60,607.02 to 61,290.19 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 60,691.54 by losing 311.03 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 17,965.55 mark and it hit highest for the day at 18,004.35. Nifty hit the lowest at 17,818.40. It traded in red all-day and ended the session by losing 99.60 points and ended at 17,844.60.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.73 against US Dollar on Monday. Majority of Stocks traded low and selling pressure as contributed to them losing their value further. Stock Markets seem to be not so enthusiastic for new financial year as much as companies are expecting them to be.
