Stock Markets on 7th February had a free-fall mid-session and then recovered to minimize losses. Indian Stock Markets have seen high volatility on Tuesday as Tata Steel, Hindalco, ITC, Sun Pharma, Maruti Suzuki lost the most during the session. Adani Ports, Adani Enterprises and Adani Wilmar registered profits after a streak of losses. Still, Stock Markets did not recover as much as anticipated as traders looked to take profits mid-session. By the end of the trading session, BSE lost 220.86 points to close at 60,286.04 and Nifty lost 243.65 points to close at 17,721.50 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 60,511.32 mark and then continued to trade between 60,655.14 to 60,063.49 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 60,286.04 by losing 220.86 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 17,790.10 mark and it hit highest for the day at 17,811.15. Nifty hit the lowest at 17,652.55. It has hit highs in the first half and then mid-session fell to the lowest. Later, in the last hours recovered and ended at 17,721.50 by losing 243.65 points.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.81.74 against US Dollar on Tuesday. Adani Enterprises and the sister company stocks have been major news throughout the week. Now, Tata Steel, Hindalco losses have triggered even more panic in traders minds. Stock Markets seem to continue to be volatile this week too.
