India has been dominating in World Cricket as one of the teams to beat. India has now become World No.1 in Tests and retained T20Is No.1 ranking. ICC has released their World Rankings on 2nd May. India and Indian players have dominated these ICC Rankings.
India got 267 Rating points above England – 259 and New Zealand – 256. This will be a big boost for India before playing Australia at Oval, in June for World Test Championship Final. India qualified for Finals in inaugural 2021 too. Marnus Labuschagne continued to be No.1 Test batsmen with 915 rating points. Kane Williamson(883)and Steve Smith(872) are at second and third places. Rishabh Pant(766), Rohit Sharma(739) and Virat Kohli(705) from India are placed at 10th, 11th and 13th places, respectively. Ravichandran Ashwin(869), Jasprit Bumrah(780), Ravindra Jadeja(753) are at No.1, No.7, No.9 places in test bowlers rankings, respectively.
Suryakumar Yadav with 906 rating points continued to be T20I No.1 batsmen. India with 121 rating points retained their No.1 position in T20Is. But they are at No.3 position behind Australia, New Zealand in ODI rankings. Virat Kohli is ranked at No.14 position in T20I batsmen rankings. Hardik Pandya from India with 250 rating points is ranked at No.2 position behind Shakib-ul-Hasan in T20I All-rounder rankings.
Shubman Gill(738), Virat Kohli(719), Rohit Sharma(707) from India are among Top 10 ODI batsmen. Babar Azam(887), Rassie van der Dussen(777), Imam-ul-Haq(740) are among Top 3 in ODI rankings. Mohammad Siraj(691) is in Top 3 ODI bowlers. Hardik Pandya(205) is on 14th place in ODI All-rounder rankings. Shakib-ul-Hasan dominates in ODI rankings too at No.1 Position. Kapil Dev topped All-time ODI All-rounder rankings while Virat Kohli is among Top 10 in all-time ODI batsmen rankings. Ravindra Jadeja(431), Ravichandran Ashwin(359), Axar Patel(316) are among Top 4 Test All-rounders. India and Indian players have dominated ICC rankings, we can say so.
