
Team India will play two first-class matches ahead of the England Test series. Regarding this, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah will be talking with ECB CEO to make arrangements for two warm-up matches before the England Test series commence.
As Cricbuzz quoted, “Indian team will go for a 20 days break in the different destination in the UK. Some of them will be watching Wimbledon, few are checking tickets for Euro Cup”.
Post WTC final press conference, Virat Kohli said that they’ve requested a warm-up match before the final but they didn’t. Now, BCCI is talking to ECB over arranging first-class matches for team India.
On the other hand, Indian speedster Ishant Sharma who has been injured during the WTC final will be expected to ready for the England Test series as there will be a month.
