Australia chased down record total – 211/6, against India in Mohali T20I. India scored 208/6 with Hardik Pandya hitting hattrick sixes to end the innings. Indian batsmen scored rapidly in the middle of the innings after Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli kind of stars got out early.

Suryakumar Yadav and KL Rahul played well building a partnership. KL Rahul got out after scoring 55 runs off 35 balls. Suryakumar Yadav scored 46 runs off 25 balls. Hardik Pandya scored 71 runs off 30 balls. Dinesh Karthik failed this time around. Nathan Ellis took 3 wickets and one of them is Virat Kohli.

Australia started their chase with Captain Aaron Finch hitting six on the first ball of the innings. The batsmen kept going after the target by being aggressive. Finch scored 22 runs off 13 balls. Only Axar Patel among Indian bowlers looked like having a control on Australian batsmen with figures 4-0-17-3. Rest of the bowlers gave away 12 runs per over and that is a worrying factor. Chahal bowled the last over and gave away 42 runs in 3.2 overs. Harshal Patel the T20I specialist gave away 49 runs in 4 overs by taking one wicket. Cameron Green got Player of the match for his all-round performance.
