Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy today held a review meeting of the roads department and gave stern direction to officials to complete the construction of new roads and repair the existing roads on priority. CM Jagan asked officials to Construct Visakhapatnam to Bhogapuram road on priority and complete construction of bridges In his efforts to provide good quality roads that last longer, he approved the use of FDR (full depth reclamation) technology. During the review meeting, CM Jagan asked officials to consider each constituency as a unit and refurbish all the major roads across districts.
Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan has set a deadline of coming June-July for the officials to complete the first phase of construction. CM Jagan also directed officials to actively monitor the progress of road infrastructure. To cater to the same, he launched the AP CM MS (Andhra Pradesh Consistent Monitoring of Municipal Services) application. The app that has been created by the Urban Development department will help officials monitor real-time issues.
Besides, CM Jagan further asked the officials to expedite the construction of incomplete bridges and to focus on Kadapa and Bangalore railway lines. He also directed the officials to immediately complete road construction from Visakhapatnam to Bhogapuram. Not just construction, the Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan also asked officials to communicate their deliverables to the public and inform them about the work done in respective areas to counter the malicious campaign of the yellow media.
