1.Palak Parantha:-

Who doesn’t love parantha’s.Everyone does love parantha but let’s look into how can you make it into weight loss friendly meal.To make this more nutritious you can add vegetables and lots of spices in it.

While parantha takes lots of oil. To make it healthy add desi ghee to the parantha after cooking it properly.

Palak parantha recipe:-

  • Boil spinach with less water
  • Let it cool down and then puree it
  • To the puree add wheat flour and knead properly
  • You can add other vegetables, grated or chopped,to the puree before adding wheat
  • You can also add spices like cumin, ajwain to this
  • Let the dough rest for a while
  • Divide them into small balls and roll it out as a roti
  • Cook it on a tawa
  • Take it off the flames and add ghee

  • Boil palak leaves and let it cool
  • Make a puree of the boiled leaves
  • To a pan, add little bit of oil and pop some cumin
  • Add the palak puree to this
  • Add salt and black pepper powder to this
  • Let it boil for a while
  • Add butter and have it hot

 spinach salads are very popular these days as these are easy to cook and are very healthy. You just need to assemble all the healthy ingredients into one bowl.

  • Take fresh palak leaves
  • Take toasted almonds, cut tomatoes, sliced cucumber, chopped onion
  • Add these two a bowl and mix it well
  • Prepare the salad dressing with olive oil, wine vinegar, salt, black pepper powder
  • Add the dressing to the salad
  • Serve immediately

4.Palak Raita​:-

A bowl of palak raita is perfect for every winter meal.

All you need is a cup of curd (freshly fermented) and spinach leaves.

  • Take palak leaves and clean them properly
  • Boil it with less water (considering the consistency of the raita)
  • Let it cool and then grind it to a fine paste
  • Now add this palak paste to curd and add salt and black pepper powder to this
  • You can also add a pinch of powdered roasted cumin

Now, you can have this raita as such or else can add a tadka of oil, mustard seed and red chilli.
