Stock Markets Update: Markets continue to crash on Thursday!

These factors helped Indian Stock Markets to further record losses today and BSE lost 304.18 points to close at 60,353.27 and Nifty lost 50.80 points to close at 17,992.15 mark.

Stock Markets on 5th January continued to crash further. Reliance, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank shares have recorded huge losses and International Stock Markets have also traded in red. These factors helped Indian Stock Markets to further record losses today and BSE lost 304.18 points to close at 60,353.27 and Nifty lost 50.80 points to close at 17,992.15 mark.

BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 60,847.50 mark and then continued to trade between 60,049.84 to 60,877.06 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 60,353.27 by losing 304.18 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 18,101.95 mark and it hit highest for the day at
18,120.30, in the first hour. Nifty went down further and hit the lowest at 17,892.60, mid-session. It slightly recovered to end at 17,992.15 by losing 50.80 points.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.46 against US Dollar on Thursday. Stock Markets saw a great dip in fortunes and Bajaj Finserv and Bajaj Finance stocks have lost above 5% stock value in a day. HUL completed buying Nutrition lab and this resulted in 19.8% growth in value. Likith Infra grew by 3.57% and Bharat Forge also grew by 1.5%.
