Megastar Chiranjeevi opened Star Hospitals Cancer Centre on 3rd June. He stated that he wants Star Hospitals to join him in opening another Cancer Centre. Megastar Chiranjeevi stated that it is important for him to open it like Blood Bank. He stated that centre will check the pre-symptoms for poor people among his fans and Film Industry. Megastar Chiranjeevi emphasized on the importance of getting periodical check-ups. He said that it would help to detect Cancer early and get treatment.
Megastar Chiranjeevi further stated that he got colonoscope test. He also stated that they detected non – cancerous polyps and removed them. While reporting this, some major media outlets tried to portray it as Megastar Chiranjeevi survived cancer. And some tried to state that he is helping poor as he detected some life-changing disease. The actor clarified that he never stated that he had been diagnosed with cancer.
Fans and netizens have supported the actor. They stated that media outlets should not get over enthusiastic and spread wrong ones. Fans went on to abuse some as they have been aggressive in reporting. Megastar Chiranjeevi stated that he has been hale and healthy away from life-changing diseases. Major number of people sighed in relief as they did not want anything to happen to their idol. Well, Megastar Chiranjeevi has shown his noble intentions by stating that he will put up a Cancer Centre for poor. We appreciate this gesture from him.
