
Australia won their 11th consecutive Day and Night Test Match. This time against West Indies at Adelaide. Australia won the toss and elected to bat first. Marnus Labuschagne scored another century, 163 runs, in the series and Travis Head scored 175 runs to help Australia score 511/7 in the first innings. West Indies got all-out for 214 in reply, Tagenarine Chanderpaul (47) and Anderson Phillip (43), Roston Chase (34) did well for West Indies and Mitchell Starc (2/48), Michael Neser (2/34), Nathan Lyon (3/57), Cameron Green (1/44) did well for Australia.

In the second innings, Australia scored 199/6 and gave West Indies 496 runs target to chase. West Indies lost Kraigg Brathwaite (3), Shamarh Brooks (0), Jermaine Blackwood (0) in the 6th over of the innings to Scott Boland. Mitchell Starc got Tagenarine Chanderpaul (17), Devon Thomas (12), Jason Holder (11) wickets early in the morning to rattle West Indies. Later, Michael Neser got 2 wickets and Nathan Lyon got another. Michael Neser got the last wicket for Australia to wind up West Indies for 77 runs all-out.

Mitchell Starc (3/29), Michael Neser (3/22), Scott Boland (3/16), Nathan Lyon (1/8) got the wickets for Australia to win by 419 runs. Australia won the series by 2-0 and Frank Worrell Trophy. Steve Smith, the captain of Australia, thanked fans who came to watch them and congratulated Marnus Labuschagne for getting Player of the Series award for scoring 502 runs. Travis Head got the Player of the Match award.
