Stock Markets on 30th December opened above previous closing but the last hour sell(s) rally pushed them into losses. During the last hour, traders pushed for sales unlike Thursday and that did not help Stock Markets to finish 2022 calendar year on a high. BSE lost 293.14 points to close at 60,840.74 and Nifty lost 85.70 points to close at 18,105.30 mark.
BSE Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 61,329.16 mark and then continued to trade between 60,743.71 to 61,392.68 range. Finally, BSE ended the trading session at 60,840.74 by losing 293.14 points. Nifty Sensex of Stock Markets started trading at 18,259.10 mark and it hit highest for the day at
18,265.25, towards the end of the session. Nifty went down further towards during closing hours and hit the lowest at 18,080.30, slightly recovered to end at 18,105.30 by losing 85.70 points.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.73 against US Dollar on Friday. While International Stock Markets have helped Indian Stock Markets to open in green, portfolio correction by traders might have pushed it into losses. But for this calendar year, BSE Sensex showed 4.4% growth while NSE showed 4.3% growth. We can say that in comparison with 2021, 2022 has been a better trading year for traders and investors in Indian Stock Markets.
