Fighter is the new action film starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor, Akshay Oberoi in the direction of Siddharth Anand. The director has delivered a huge blockbuster in Pathaan, last year. Before that he made WAR movie with Hrithik Roshan. The director has decided to increase the stakes in action films with a new aviation film.
India has never come up with a hero being a pilot or aviator flying planes in an action film. There have been heroes who played pilots in Indian Air Force, but they have been limited to achieving one mission or appear on screen in uniform for few sequences. But not a complete film based on the aviation and attacks by Air Force.
The movie theme is been designed after Balkot Attacks that Indian Air Force conducted in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir or POK, in retaliation to Pulwama attacks. Hrithik Roshan will be seen as an Air Force pilot with giant ego and swag but even great talent. The movie tries to get the patriotic angle right and lines like “India Occupied Pakistan” will definitely bring claps in the theatres.
The trailer showcases high quality visuals in achieving the air force plight and flight. Hrithik Roshan is looking at his best in this film and Siddharth Anand seems to have given him enough to act as well. Deepika Padukone, Anil Kapoor are also seen in their best outfits. Movie is promising to hit big on 25th January, 2024 as the trailer has already gone viral.
