Devara Contract Blocks Pushpa 2 Item Song

Janhvi Kapoor

Janhvi Kapoor, the beautiful daughter of star Sridevi, has not received a proper break despite appearing in several Bollywood films. After she booked a role in the Telugu movie Devara, Telugu film heroes have shown interest in casting her in their projects. Janhvi will act in the Ram Charan and Buchi Babu film following her role in Devara. The recently released song “Chuttamalle” from Devara has proven that she can effectively balance the glamour associated with star heroes.

Earlier, Sukumar and Allu Arjun wanted Janhvi to perform an item number in Pushpa 2. However, she signed a contract with Devara Productions, which prohibits her from acting in any Telugu film until Devara releases. The delay in Ram Charan’s film means she won’t encounter any issues.

Initially, Allu Arjun planned to release Pushpa 2 on August 15, which would have conflicted with her contract and prevented her from doing the item song. However, since Pushpa has now moved to December 6, and Devara will release in September, she can participate without any problems. Sukumar and Allu Arjun initially considered actress Tripti Dimri for the item song but decided against her because she did not meet their dancing standards. Given that the first part of Pushpa featured the sensational “Oo Antava Oo Antava,” they are looking for a talented dancer with the right appeal to exceed that.

Janhvi Kapoor is likely to perform an item song in Pushpa 2, which will release on December 6. If she delivers a performance like “Oo Antava Oo Antava,” she will certainly become one of the most sought-after actresses among all Telugu star heroes.
