Australia Women has made the landmark International match a memorable one for legendary cricketer, Ellyse Perry. She played her 300th International Match for Aus against India Women at DY Patil Stadium. She spearheaded the chase after bowlers restricted India for a low score. She has been in a good form and she has been positive on field and with bat as well.

Earlier, Australia Women won the toss and elected to field first. Deepti Sharma(30), Richa Ghosh(23) and Smriti Mandhana(23) have helped India score over 100 but they have struggled to make those runs. Kim Garth(2/27) took important wickets and pushed India on back seat. India Women managed to score 130/8 in 20 overs.

In the chase, Alyssa Healy started off in her aggressive fashion. She scored 26 runs from 21 balls. Beth Mooney(20) and Tahlia McGrath(19) struggled yet scored well. Ellyse Perry took it upon herself to score quickly and finished innings for Australia with 34 from 21 balls. Phoebe Litchfield assisted her by scoring 18 runs from 12 balls.

Australia Women scored 133/4 in 19 overs and won the match by 6 wickets. The series has been equaled with this win and the scoreline 1-1. Kim Garth has been named Player of the Match for her bowling performance. Ellyse Perry has thanked her teammates and stated that she became reminiscent about her career. She did say that they will try to play for their full potential in the next match.
