Sivakarthikeyan has become one of the few actors who has considerable market in Telugu states as well. He hails from Tamil Cinema and his films have found masses enjoying comedy and family elements. He is coming up with a big science-fiction film, Ayalaan. The movie is one of the biggest risks of his career, till date. He did not even take remuneration to realise the dream to make this movie.
R Ravikumar has worked over 6 years to bring this movie out. Due to financial difficulties and Covid-19 pandemic, the movie had to wait for over the years to release it. Sivakarthikeyan is confident that despite such difficulties movie will be loved and liked by children and family audiences for Pongal. He wanted the movie to release in Telugu as well on same day, 12th January, 2024.
But the movie release in Telugu has been postponed to a new date. Dil Raju has acquired rights for the film and it might release on 26th January. For now, the makers did not announce any new release date. Well, the theatres availability has been a huge reason behind this decision. Makers are confident that it will make its money back whenever it releases in Telugu states.
Siddharth has given voice to Alien character, who plays the lead role other than Sivakarthikeyan. Isha Koppikar, Rakul Preet Singh and Sharad Kelkar are playing other important roles along with Yogi Babu. AR Rahman is composing music for the film. Movie has a good positive inside talk in Tamil Industry. Many are stating that it could surprise many and open full lenght sci-fi market in regional language film industries, too.
