She became viral as social media influencers have made her popular by posting memes and interviews. They kept asking her questions about her returns and how she is providing food at low rates.
She has become popular for giving extra non-veg items for low prices and all non-veg platter for a reasonable price. Her style of serving food to everyone by referring to them as “Chinna”, like a family member, has made her even more popular. In recent times, due to social media popularity, the customers who visit her food point have increased.
She ran her food point at ITC Kohenur Street in Madhapur. She started charging Rs.1000 for her full non-veg platter and she became an instant meme material. Many predicted that this popularity will increase customers and cause congestion on the road near her food point. As unauthorised roadside vendors are not allowed to run such popular shops, GHMC officials have seized her business.
Kumari Aunty has been asked to shut shop with immediate effect by Traffic Police. On record, the police have stated that due to congestion and traffic violations, they have decided to seize her business. She tried to defend her stance but police did not heed to her pleas.
