Kamal Nath denies any plans to shift his party

Kamal Nath, Madhya Pradesh leader from Congress party, has been in the news lately about his decision to join BJP after latest Congress defeat in Assembly polls. He declined having even thought about shifting party and joining BJP. He stated that he will be working with Congress and talked about strategies to be implemented by Congress leaders in upcoming Parliament elections.

He told to media that he never talked about changing party and no one should be believing the rumors as he never uttered those words from his mouth. He later stated that he would not even think about changing his party when Lok Sabha polls, that is, Parliament elections are upon them.

He alleged that MP government is running the state on loans and not working towards growth and infrastruture building. Kamal Nath stated that they will demand government to immediately release relief funds to farmers who lost their yields due to recent unseason rains and hailstones.

Kamal Nath has been a long time Congress leader and he worked as state Chief Minister for Madhya Pradesh. He is considered as one of the most influential and senior leaders among current Congress leadership. So, the rumors about him quitting Congress and joining BJP drew major attention towards his decision. Now, he clarified his stance about shifting the party.
