Thalapathy Vijay has grown in stature as a box office star in Indian Cinema based in Tamil language. After becoming a huge star in Tamil cinema, his films from 2010’s have earned him huge fame across India in different languages. Post Leo, which collected his highest ever box office revenue more than Rs.500 crores, Vijay is coming with The Greatest of All Time, aka, The G.O.A.T.
Maanaadu fame Venkat Prabu is writing and directing the film. Thalapathy Vijay wanted to work with Venkat Prabhu from a long time. The writer-director earned a great reputation with Mankatha, Maanaadu films as a different and “young” filmmaker with unique narratives. The G.O.A.T is expected to be another unique film from him.
Thalapathy Vijay will be playing dual role in the film as father and son. For his younger look, movie team has used de-aging technology. Ace music composer Yuvan Shankar Raja is composing music for the film. Team released three songs from the movie but none could really create positive buzz for the movie. Even de-aged look attracted trolls.
Now, the team has revealed that The G.O.A.T will release in IMAX format across the world. Post Indian 2, The G.O.A.T will be releasing in this format from Tamil Cinema. Makers have huge expectations for this film at the box office. Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Sneha are playing other important roles alongside Thalapathy Vijay. Movie is releasing on 5th September all-over.
