The highly anticipated film “Devara” directed by Koratala Siva, is set to hit theaters on September 27. In a series of interviews, NTR shared intriguing insights about the film and its unique storyline, which has captivated both fans and industry peers. Young actors Siddhu Jonnalagadda and Vishwak Sen recently visited NTR and Koratala Siva to discuss the project.
NTR expressed his excitement about the film’s premise, stating, “The background of the story seemed interesting to me. Typically, the hero inspires courage in others, but in ‘Devara,’ the hero instills fear. This fresh perspective teaches overconfident individuals how to be fearful, which I found compelling.”
When asked about the action sequences, NTR emphasized their importance, saying, “I am very confident about the film’s success. There is so much more to the story, but we will only cover Part One for now. The film has an extensive length of 8 to 9 hours.

NTR also showcased his linguistic skills, mentioning that he speaks Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. This versatility adds to his appeal as a leading actor in the industry.
Koratala Siva, the film’s director, reassured fans about his vision for the project, stating, “I am not afraid of anything. I believe I can tell the story I’ve chosen effectively and do 100% justice to it.”
Regarding intimacy in the film, NTR humorously noted, “There are no intimate scenes. We have written new romantic scenes, but the essence remains the same. Anirudh has composed fantastic music that I believe will one day achieve international recognition.”
NTR praised his co-star, Janhvi Kapoor, highlighting her remarkable performance. “When we started writing the script and discussing the heroine, Janhvi’s name was the first to come up. I was amazed by her work,” he shared.
Reflecting on challenging scenes, NTR recalled the Ayudha Pooja sequence filmed on a massive set in Filmcity, which was complicated by rain. “It was a complex scene involving a song and a fight, and everyone’s safety was paramount,” he noted.
NTR also shared insights about a boat scene, stating, “Working with Sabu Garu, who crafted the boats, showed me why he has received national awards. The boats were built for real, capable of going out to sea.”
When discussing a particularly taxing moment, he recounted the heat during the Goa shoot: “It was sunny, and I was sweating profusely, eagerly awaiting the scene’s end. Once finished, I rushed to an AC room, but the power went out for 40 minutes just as I turned it on.”
On the film’s thematic elements, NTR remarked, “In this film, characters worship weapons, transcending religion, caste, and creed. It’s important for them to understand why these weapons hold significance and have been revered for generations.”
Koratala Siva added, “NTR is unique; it’s hard to define him. He’s like a child at home, often found in the kitchen.”
NTR concluded by emphasizing his down-to-earth nature, stating, “I like to be simple and never take my on-screen image too seriously. In real life, I prefer to keep things straightforward.”
As the release of “Devara” approaches, both NTR and Koratala Siva’s insights promise an exciting cinematic experience that fans will eagerly anticipate.
