Aadujeevitham – The Goat Life, is the new movie starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Amala Paul. The movie is a survival drama based on a real life incident. Prithviraj Sukumaran is a playing a Kerala man who goes to Gulf Countries and gets caught up in a desert for years. He is forced to work as a goatkeeper in a desert. He has to walk in deserts from length to length to survive and escape from modern day slavery.

Director Blessy started working on the script 12 years ago and from then on kept writing and re-writing it. Until, he has been able to get the script right and gather all the financials for the movie, he did not direct another film. While his films have been big blockbusters, he did not want to make another film other than Aadujeevitham. Hence, he kept sticking to it for long.

And he chose Prithviraj to be his lead actor and also did not change his lead actor choice, through all these struggles. Prithviraj also had to go through some tough times during Covid pandemic to finish this film. He also did not back out looking at the passion of the director and the material he had in his hand.

That passion is visible in the trailer in every frame. The trailer itself looks like a visual spectacle and AR Rahman’s score added to the feel the visuals carry. The movie is releasing on 28th March, 2024. Script of the movie has been adapted to screen from the Malayalam Novel written by Benyamin, with same name.
