Stock Markets ended flat on 23rd February 2024. Traders did not show much interest in investing and indices kept trading flat. International Stock Markets have given required momentum for traders to start the session, enthusiastically. Towards the end though, big stocks had to face selling pressure. Hence, BSE lost 15.45 points to close at 73,158.24 and Nifty lost 4.75 points to close at 22,212.70 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading at 73,394.44 and then continued to trade between 73,413.93 – 73,022.00. Index started above the previous closing. With selling pressure rocking it throughout the session and it traded flat without major losses. Hence, BSE ended the trading session at 73,142.80 by losing 15.45 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,290.00 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,297.50. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,186.10. Index have started above the previous closing and slowly the big stocks had to face selling pressure. With several oscillations, Nifty50 ended by losing 4.75 points on 22,212.70.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.82.88 against US Dollar on 23rd February, 2024. Bajaj Finserv, M&M, Titan, Wipro, Reliance shares have gained profits during this session. HCL Tech, Maruthi Suzuki, Asian Paints, JSW Steel, SBI shares have ended with losses. Stock Markets have ended a majorly profitable week in a flat manner.
