Stock Markets crashed huge on 03rd May, 2024. Investors did not show much confidence in big Indian stocks in this session. International Stock Markets did not have huge effect as well. Reliance, HDFC and L&T stocks faced huge losses and BSE lost 732.96 points to close at 73,878.15 and Nifty lost 172.35 points to close at 22,475.85 mark.
BSE Sensex started trading at 75,017.82 and then continued to trade between 75,095.18 – 73,467.73. Index started off above 75, 000 mark but then it kept free-falling throughout the session. At one point, it slipped 1,100 points but then recovered and BSE ended the trading session at 73,878.15 by losing 732.96 points.
Nifty Sensex started trading at 22,766.35 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 22,794.70. Nifty50 hit the lowest at 22,348.05. Investors looked to sell off their holds right after starting with profits. It recovered slightly towards the end and finally, Nifty50 ended by losing 172.35 points on 22,475.85.
Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.42 against US Dollar on 03rd May 2024. Bajaj Finance, Bajaj Finserv, SBI, Mahindra & Mahindra, Infosys, ICICI Bank shares have only gained in this session. L&T, Maruthi, Reliance, Nestle India, Bharti Airtel shares ended as Top Losers. Investors will be hoping for big recovery in coming sessions of Stock Markets.
