World Test Championship

The World Test Championship (WTC) final for the 2023-25 cycle will take place at Lord’s in London from June 11-15, with June 16 reserved as a backup day. This will be the first time Lord’s hosts a WTC final. Previously, the inaugural WTC final in 2021 was held at Southampton, and the 2023 final took place at The Oval.

India has secured its spot in the upcoming final, having performed strongly throughout the championship. Australia, the 2021 WTC champions, and New Zealand, the winners of the 2023 edition, are the previous titleholders. Currently, India leads the WTC points table, followed by New Zealand in second place and Australia in third. Bangladesh, which recently clinched a two-match series victory over Pakistan, has risen to fourth place in the Test rankings.
