England have been positive about chasing down huge totals in the fourth innings. They have been able to chase down huge targets against New Zealand and India in England few years ago. Hence, they have been able to showcase their Bazball attacking cricket. But the same has become a root to their downfall in the Rajkot Test.

Ravindra Jadeja ended up taking 5 wickets giving away 41 runs. Ravichadran Ashwin has joined the Rajkot Test in the third session and took a wicket as well. He showed a great example of sportsmanship and earned praises for his commitment. Mark Wood(33) is the only batter to show some kind of resistance and score runs.
India have won the match by 434 runs. It is their biggest win margin ever and eight biggest overall. Ravindra Jadeja with his all-round performance got his 10th Player of the Match award. He has created a record by winning 9 Player of the Match awards at home for India, equalling Anil Kumble. Sachin Tendular(14) and Rahul Dravid(11) won more than Jadeja in Tests, overall.
