India wins Test Series against England by 4-1 in the absence of senior pros

India lost Kuldeep Yadav(30) and Jasprit Bumrah(20) in the first 4.1 overs on 3rd Day of Dharamsala Test. James Anderson dismissed Yadav and became first pacer to take 700 wickets in Test cricket. India got bowled out for 477 runs in 124.1 overs in their first innings. With a huge lead of 259 runs, India looked to wrap up this match sooner and register an innings win in the final match to complete the series win big time.

Ravichandran Ashwin shared new ball with Jasprit Bumrah. He dismissed openers Ben Duckett(2) and Zak Crawley(0), Ollie Pope(19) and England have been reduced to 36/3 in 9.2 overs. Jonny Bairstow in his 100th Test took on Indian bowlers and scored 39 runs from 31 balls. He got dismissed in Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling in the bowler’s first over.

Ashwin dismissed Ben Stokes(2) and Ben Foakes(8) and took another 5-for in his 100th Test. Tom Hartley(20) and Joe Root resisted spin for some time. Jasprit Bumrah came to bowl and immediately, dismissed Tom Hartley, Mark Wood(0) in the same over. Joe Root tried to salvage the situation but Shoaib Bashir(13) could not resist for long.

Joe Root trying to push for runs got out after scoring 84 runs from 128 balls. England got bowled out for 195 runs in the second innings and India won by 64 runs and an innings. Finally, India managed to win by 4-1 scoreline, the Test Series.
