Lakshya Sen loses yet creates history for India

Lakshya Sen, the young Indian Badminton sensation, lost Bronze medal match in ongoing Paris Olympics 2024. He reached Semi-Finals in the individual tournament and lost to Viktor Axelsen from Denmark. He lost some winning moments in the match. He repeated several errors in the Bronze medal match too against Malaysia’s Lee Zii Jia.

Nervous Lakshya Sen, won the first set by 21-13 and took early lead in the second. But he lost the momentum after reaching individual 8 points and Lee encashed on his errors. Lee zoomed to 21 and won the set by 21-16. In the third one, Sen tried too hard and lost to Lee by 21-11. Many experts opined that the young player needs to calm his nerves and develop big match temperament.

The youngster tried his best to win over an experienced opponent like Viktor Axelsen in Semi-Finals. But he looked very nervous in Bronze medal match in the ending moments. Looking at his skills and abilities, experts opined that Lakshya Sen will win medal in the next Olympics and even dominate world Badminton.

But the youngster created history for India. No individual player Men’s Singles could reach this far as Lakshya Sen did.
