Being the highest wicket-taker ever for a pacer, he is chasing Shane Warne’s 708 wickets record in his final test for England. He has been able to take his 700th wicket against India, in recent series in the nation.

Now, he has been forced to take retirement as he is nearing 42 years age and England wants to concentrate on future. While he remains fit and capable, English team wants to find his replacement who can contribute for next generation. James Anderson has decided to call it a day after the first test against West Indies.
