Stock Markets ended with marginal losses flat

Stock Markets ended flat with marginal losses on 11th July. Investors once again looked to book profits at the high benchmarks. Global markets did not end with profits and that also effected the Indian trading session. Major stocks did not inspire investors to buy rather they kept going for selling calls.

Going into the details, Indices started again on huge highs. BSE Sensex started off at 80,170.09 mark and then due to profit booking it almost lost 700 points at one moment. Nifty50 also went through similar trading pattern and both ended flat with marginal losses. Hence, Big indices of Stock Markets, BSE lost 27.43 points to close at 79,897.34 and Nifty50 lost 8.50 points to close at 24,315.95 mark.

In this session of Stock Markets, BSE Sensex started trading above previous closing at 80,170.09 and then continued to trade between 80,170.09 – 79,464.38. On the other hand, Nifty Sensex started trading higher than previous closing at 24,396.55 mark and it hit its highest for the day at 24,402.65. While Nifty50 hit the lowest at 24,193.75.

Indian Rupee traded at Rs.83.51 against USD on 11th July 2024. ITC, Tata Motors, Asian Paints, State Bank Of India and Titan Company ended as Top Gainers in Sensex. Oil & Natural Gas Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation, Coal India, ITC and Tata Motors ended as Top Gainers in Nifty50.

On the other hand in top indices of Stock Markets; Bajaj Finance, Mahindra & Mahindra, NTPC, Nestle India and Power Grid Corporation Of India stocks ended as Top Losers in Sensex. While Tata Consumer, Bajaj Finance, Mahindra & Mahindra, Divis Laboratories and NTPC ended as Top Losers in Nifty50.
