Quinton de Kock came good for Lucknow Super Giants, LSG, big time in this match. He has not been at his best in this IPL 2024 but he seems to have found his rhythm in this match. He just kept hitting RCB bowlers all over the park at Chinnaswamy stadium and helped LSG set a huge score. RCB found themselves always chasing 8 ball on a slow pitch.

Quinton de Kock started off the innings in his blistering fashion while KL Rahul took his time. Rahul(20) got out but Quinton kept going for big shots. Marcus Stoinis(24) supported him and Nicholas Pooran started rotating strike with him at the crease.
Quinton de Kock scored 81 runs off 56 balls and missed out on a much deserved century. Pooran(40) cleared the boundary 5 times in the final overs pushing 160-165 score to 181/5 in 20 overs. In the chase, Virat Kohli(22) and Faf du Plessis(19) got out quickly. Young pacer Mayank Yadav(3/14) removed Glenn Maxwell for a duck. He removed dangerous Cameron Green(9) as well.
Mahipal Lomror(33) tried to play his hand with several big shots in the final overs but he got out trying to achieve a herculean task. Anuj Rawat played a worst possible innings scoring 11 runs of 21 balls. RCB could only score 153 in 19.4 overs. Naveen-ul-Haq(2/25) also bowled tight. LSG won the match by 28 runs.
With this loss, RCB has become the first one in this season to lose 3 out of 4 matches they have played while MI lost all 3, they have played till date.
